Who is responsible for your data

GrihVann is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. GrihVann is an independent real estate advisory registered with MahaRERA under Agent Registration A51900036950.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form we collect what you type: your name, your email address, a phone number if you choose to give one, and any message or listing you ask about. Phone number is optional on every form on this site.

The server also records the page you enquired from and the time. It records your IP address, your country as resolved by Cloudflare, and your browser user-agent string. It records an advertising click identifier if one is present in the URL that brought you here. The IP address and user-agent are recorded to detect automated abuse of the form, not to profile you.

Why we collect it, and on what basis

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form. We use it only to reply to you, arrange a viewing, and send the pricing or listing material you asked for. We do not sell, rent, share or broker your personal data, and we do not pass it to developers, other agents or lead aggregators.

You can withdraw consent at any time, by the routes set out under Your rights below. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent was, and we will stop processing and erase your data unless we are required by law to retain it.

Where it is stored, and who else sees it

Enquiry submissions are stored in a private, access-controlled Google Sheet used internally by GrihVann. Google’s infrastructure may store or process this data on servers outside India, including in the United States. By submitting an enquiry you consent to that cross-border transfer.

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes request metadata in order to serve the site and to operate the bot check on the enquiry form.

What this site actually loads

To be accurate about this, because an earlier version of this policy was not: this site does not run Google Analytics, and it does not run Google Ads. Neither is installed. No advertising network, session recorder, heat-map tool or data broker script runs on any page.

The site loads four external hosts. You can verify this in your browser’s network tab. fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com serve typefaces. challenges.cloudflare.com runs the bot check on the enquiry form. static.cloudflareinsights.com serves Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is aggregate and cookieless and does not identify individual visitors.

If we ever add an analytics or advertising tool, this section will be updated before it goes live, not after.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It uses session storage to hold an advertising click identifier for the duration of your visit, so that an enquiry can be attributed to the campaign that brought you here. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab and is not used to build a profile of you.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for 24 months from your last contact with us, after which it is erased. Where a transaction completes, records required by law or by MahaRERA are retained for the statutory period applicable to them. If you ask us to erase your data sooner, we will, subject only to those legal retention obligations.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access — obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it has been processed.
• Correction and completion — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated.
• Erasure — have your data deleted where it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for, or where you withdraw consent.
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, named below, and receive a response.
• Nomination — nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these, write to the Grievance Officer below. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Enquiries about this policy, and requests to access, correct, erase or stop processing your data, all go to the same person who would have replied to your enquiry. There is no queue and no ticketing system.

This policy carries the date it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected in that date and in this section.
